Sul Ross State University

In February 2014, the Dixon Water Foundation funded a $1.2-million endowment establishing a new sustainable ranching program at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. The foundation has a longstanding partnership with the university’s College of Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, which has previously conducted research projects at Mimms Unit with Dixon support.
